Use non-linear upgrade growth formula to encourage HON/WND spending on upgrades

Hi, I have a suggestion to change the upgrade formula. I think using a linear increase like we do now to get 2x the base value at the final level does not incentivize upgrading enough. Now an example with 200 base attack looks like this:

200, 220, 240, 260, 280, 300, 320, 340, 360, 380, 400

I have over 12000 HON and over 100 WND sitting in my game account, but I don't upgrade my gear over level 7. It doesn't feel like you get much but have to spend a lot of tokens to squeeze out the final levels. I also doesn't feel like I will beat more courses in PVE or beat more players in PVP by spending it. However if we change that same item with 400 attack at the final level to instead start with 40 attack and make each upgrade stronger to look like this for example (xn = xn-1 * 1.259)

40, 50, 63, 80, 100, 126, 159, 200, 252, 318, 400

But still keep the same cost formula it would feel like I would make a significant upgrade to my gear and feel excited to go into battle next time.

I would think this would make more players want to upgrade their gear to the final levels and spend much more HON and WND on the game.
